Welcome to Tashinga Campsite
Set on a peninsula in the northwest, the park’s main campsite, Tashinga, is located close to reception and the shop. Campers enjoy the singular experience of witnessing Kariba’s famous sunrises and sunsets from the same spot while surrounded by free-roaming wildlife. There are herds of elephant, impala and bushbuck that also call the campsite home, alongside squirrels, numerous bird species and a resident leopard too. The site offers campsites for the self-equipped with access to hot showers and bathrooms, as well as Albida and Fig Tree campsites, each complete with a private kitchen. Albida campsite includes private ablutions and a sheltered veranda area.

How to Get There
An hour’s speed-boat crossing from Kariba (weather depending), or a ten-hour drive from Harare.
Located three hours’ drive from the Chifudzi entrance gate, or a 15-minute drive from the Ume ferry drop-off point.
